The studio is best known for creating and producing Jousting Knights , as well as developing special effects, sound and computer animation for The Collection. Both Jousting Knights (1990) and The Collection (2002) has won 13 international Awards including 4 Telly Awards. Jousting Knights winning Best independent short film, Best animation in a film and Best special effects in a film. Ryder Films, a division of Brian Ryder Productions was founded by Animator/filmmaker Brian Ryder in 1989 in Oakdale, Louisiana. Ryder Films produces short films for the animation genre.
